Lizzie & Doug: New Orleans Fertility Story (Part 5)

(For the rest of this story, check out parts ONE, TWO, THREE, and FOUR.)

Lizzie and Doug knew that their embryo transfer was successful. They were expecting! But the big question remaining was one baby, or two?! It was time to find out at their first pregnancy ultrasound.

Definitely TWO babies! Although most parents don’t see a heartbeat this early, there were two clear flickers on the screen where their tiny hearts were beating away!

Big changes are ahead for these two new parents! Many of your have asked about this couple and where they are today. These two babies are still safe inside the womb at 34 weeks! It has been a long pregnancy for Lizzie, with months of bedrest and a very long hospital stay. Keep them in prayer – only a few weeks left (at most) before they’ll be meeting their sweet babies!
